Healing Arts Atlanta is a celebration of arts and health by Performance Hypothesis and the Jameel Arts & Health Lab. A series of events will showcase how the arts can and has been leveraged by communities and leaders alike to heal racial divides and improve health equity and wellness. Through museum collaborations, live performances, research seminars, practical workshops, and more - Healing Arts Atlanta will bring communities together around the potential of the arts to not only address racism as a public health crisis, but to do something about it.

Positively Creative: The Arts and Youth Mental Health

Co-hosted by the Carter Center’s Mental Health Program and Emory’s Carlos Museum, this innovative program will ground participants in the science related to the arts and youth mental health, show how creating art can enhance well-being of young people impacted by racism, and demonstrate the positive impact of making art through an interactive collage activity.
